Painting Teaching Schedule

 Studio 

5121 South 84th Street, Greendale, WI

• 2 student limit for each teaching session
• Student attendance is optional to the 30 minutes painting demonstration before each session 
• All Sessions run 5 consecutive weeks for 2 hours each week with a free 6th lesson  week immediately following with perfect attendance by the student.

I offer two types of courses.  

Please read over and consider what type of course suits you and register for the course.  

Because I am limiting the session size to 2 students it is important that you register and pay to secure a spot.

Art Fundamentals

Classical Foundations in Painting

Classical Foundations course prepares the student with a complete foundation to develop as a fine artists.  The student is trained in basic skills of drawing,  design and composition and painting.  It is approximately  a two year course, dependent on the pace of the student's involvement  The first year's emphasis is on drawing, design and composition.  The second years emphasis is on painting.  See this link for detailed curriculum.

Art as Avocation 

Art can be a relaxing pastime....

Enjoying a diversion can be enjoyable and rewarding in view of the daily grind.  This type of creative work is surely for fun and play, yet affords an opportunity to make some pretty lovely stuff, which can decorate your home or provide nice gifts for family and friends.  At the beginning you just follow the  step by step instructions of the instructor when constructing your artwork, but as you gain confidence you create on your own.

  Floral Class, Seascape Class, Landscape Class or Still Life Class

In the class type, you select, you will: Complete one  9”x12” Acrylic Painting in two hours while learning basic acrylic painting techniques and apply them to your own  wonderful future projects.  Use fine art tools, including brushes and acrylic paints learning to hold a brush properly to create a variety of  brushstrokes while selecting colors to create depth, perspective, and focal point in your paintings. Students may bring in an image to paint or select an image
