Judith Reidy Art Classes: Feeling Isolated From YOUR Artist Friends?

Hello Judith Reidy,

How does it feel to be isolated from your art friends and all those discussions about the projects you are working on?

I had my plans for the coming months, attending open sketch club and art association meetings, join some club gathering, and attend several art receptions. Now all those opportunities are closed down.

For February, I had organized an in-person weekend painting workshop which I recorded. Many requested that I create another March in-person workshop for them.

Because social distancing begun the previous week that March Weekend workshop turned into a online Zoom meeting workshop which we started on last Friday evening and Saturday day meeting again on Tuesday evening ( during what would have been sketch club) and we will meet again on this coming Friday Evening and Wednesday. In between the students have phoned and emailed questions and I have responded with suggestions. We have exchanged and posted many images and created constructive conversations about those resource images and their respective paintings. Its been wonderful to have in depth conversations about ourart. I am creating more videos in response to specific questions.

I think we have all learned a lot in the process and are having a good deal of fun. Our little community gets value from one another as well as from what I am able to share with them.
